Duran started his audiovisual career in 1997 on the Puma TV Network in his home country, Venezuela, quickly establishing himself in the roles of director/producer and editor of some of the most important shows in the network’s programming. One of the shows that he enjoyed the most was “Rap & Jam”, on which he worked at the early age of 18, earning him recognition as the youngest director/producer in his country. Later on, Daniel feels the need to work in cinema, and that’s how he began working in short films, advertising campaigns and music videos, which became his real passion. In 2007 he gets the important call of Ricky Martin´s manager to work in the Behind the Scenes/Documentary feature for the Black & White Tour. And that was just the beginning, since then he has collaborated with a great array of artists such as Pitbull, JBalvin, Akon, Lil Jon, Shaggy, Becky G, Wisin, Yandel, Ozuna, Arcangel, Chino & Nacho, Gente De Zona, Luny Tunes, among others. Daniel’s work has had billions of views on Youtube, with success like Joey Montana’s Picky, Ahora Dice with J Balvin, Arcangel and Ozuna and Becky G ft Bad Bunny for her song Mayores with +1 billion in less than a year of its release. Robarte un Beso by Carlos Vives ft Sebastian Yatra is also a major hit with +600 millions views. He has achieved the number one position with various of the videos he has directed on many occasions in important music video TV channels. He also has more than 7 Pepsi Music Awards as well as numerus nomination on Premios Lo Nuestro, Latin Billboards and Premios Juventud At the same time, he has been active working in several advertising campaigns for worldwide renowned brands such as Pepsi and AT&T. His work has been seen in millions of homes through the signals of the most important networks in the world. This expansion was necessary for the next big step: Filmmaking. In 2013 Daniel began the process of bringing to life the dramatic movie "Bravetown". This film is supported by an amazing cast made up of Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Laura Dern, Josh Duhamel, Maria Bello, Lucas Till and Sharlene Taule. The feature was released May 2015.
